On Monday July 30 2018, CIMSA attended the invitation of book launch and discussion of “Fikih, Zakat on SDG’s” in Kementrian PPN/Bappenas, central Jakarta. CIMSA was represented by Batara Bisuk (NORP CIMSA 2018-2019) and Nita Tri S (VNE SCORP 2018-2019).
The book was initiated by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), Filantropi Indonesia and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. It also got support from Bappenas and The Ministry of Religion. This event was officially opened by Chairman of BAZNAS Mr. Prof. Dr. Bambang Sudibyo, The Minister of Religion Affairs or the representative, H. Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, The State Minister for Chairperson of National Development Planning Agency /Bappenas Prof. Dr. Bambang Brodjonegoro and Co Chair Filantropi Indonesia, Ir. Erna Witoelar. This discussion was sustained by the leader of MUI, The State Minister for Chairperson of National Development Planning Agency/Bappenas, BAZNAS and the author of the book.
SDG’s is a new development agreement to support the changes into sustainable development based on human right and equality to support the development of social, economic and living environment. CIMSA as a youth organizations is focusing on how zakat can alleviate properties, advance the economy, and also be a part of succeeding the Sustainable Development Goals. On the other hand, there’s an application of SDG’s paradigm in the zakat management.
This time, CIMSA also got a chance to do a brainstorming with Hety A. Nurchayani, Partnership & Membership Manager, Organisasi Filantropi Indonesia. By inviting the speakers, it was expected that CIMSA can be known by the stakeholders and the other organizations. Thus one day there will be a collaboration for the real action to achieve the SDG’s.
